Our researchers have been claiming that low technology and social axiom of Core Earth cannot sustain the society with widespread computer use. This contradiction rose to the surface as so-called Year 2000 (Y2K) Problem.
Today many computer vendors are wrapped up with patching their software. However, we impeach their solution. The true cause of Y2K is not human error but the low axiom of Core Earth. The fact that WindowsNT 4.0 had Y2K problem indicate that Microsoft programmers cannot overcome this reality problem.
Our forecast tells more than half of Core Earth computer systems will go erratic on Jan 1st 2000. Core Earth critics deny the possibilities of global disasters due to fail of air-traffic control, nuclear reactor control and strategic nuclear missle control, however, we should consider these possiblities seriously.
On the other hand, Y2K can be a big chance for us. We should provide Y2K aware companies with a special service that we rectify their software at a low price, in fact not only rectifying but also embedding spy-probes in the software so that we can get various insider information about the companies.
It is not clear yet whether the GodNet of CyberFrance suffers Y2K problem or not. Though the Cyberpapal technology axiom is sufficient to avoid the problem, the end of millennium might have a special meaning for the superstitious reality of Magna Verita. If the GodNet goes down, its consequence will be far severer than Core Earth.
Linux, a Unix-compatible OS developed by Linus Torvalds in 1991, is a wonder in Core Earth. I cannot believe that the low technology axiom of Core Earth support this fine software. This phenomenon cannot be explained unless assuming Torvalds was possilibty-rated or he had some eternity shards. In addition, this OS is distributed in free. Torvalds himself has not gained profit from Linus. Unbelievable.
Judging impartially, Linux is an OS much better than Microsoft Windows, the product of our partner Microsoft Corporation. Linux can make the best use of our Omi 128bit CPU though Windows cannot, for example. In later half of 1998 many computer vendors dicided to support Linux on their hardware in order to gain Linux advantage. With Linux such computer vendors can catch up with Tech Axiom 24 computer of Marketplace. This can be a threat to our business.
To deal with the potentially threat, we should invest in Red Hat Software, announcing Kanawa's support to Linux, in order to control the Linux community subtly. Dealing with the community we must be specially cautious because the community has no intention to gain profit. In addition, supporting Linux can be damage our relation with Microsoft.
In 1998 Department of Justice sued Microsoft for their monopolistic business. Contrary to critics' former expectation, David Boies the attorney of DOJ gave full play to his alibity to turn Microsoft into defensive. At the moment of January 1999, Microsoft's win is not very probable. The attorneis seem to change their tactics from winning the trial to delaying and appealing to supreme court.
The judgement will have little to our business because Microsoft will no doubt appeal against it. We can conquer Core Earth before the final decision. If Microsoft repeat blunder in court to lose public support for their products, however, we should reconsider our partnership.
Another bad news about Microsoft. In 1998, the scheduled release date of WindowsNT 5.0 was postponed again and again. Currently, Windows2000, renamed NT5.0, is scheduled sometime in 2000. Though Core Earth critics consider it as the lack of software development ability, the fact is that Windows2000 needs technology axiom 24.
Though the new Kanawa-Microsoft partnership can provide tech axiom 24 developer environment to Microsoft, Windows2000 will needs tech axiom 24 for run on customer's PC, thus customers will get disconnected when they use Windows2000. Microsoft should sell Windows2000 in the realms of Nippon Tech only. Of course we should expand our realm before the release of Windows2000.
In 1997 our analysts expected Apple would continue to lose its share. The fact is Apple revived with the astounding sales of new iMac. It was our shame that we rejected Apple's ask to invest in 1997. The analysts commited suicide on the last Christmas.
